<p>My question is very similar to Mega and indian monster. My optional recommender happens to be a teacher at my school but never taught me. They were actually the moderator for three of my extracirriculars, all of which I was very passionate about. As a result, I feel like my recommender was able to see a different side of me as opposed to a teacher who taught me for one of their subjects.</p>
