<p>i am not so familiar with tennis, but i think there are three levels of intramural tennis competition… one for beginners, one for intermediate, and one for advanced. i’ve heard the advanced team is actually very very good and that they do well in national tournaments. i think you can sign up for this through the wooden center, and i would suggest you talking to them when you get there. there are tennis courts in the sunset rec area (10 lighted ones) and also tennis courts near the LA Tennis Center. </p>

<p>if you enjoy watching tennis, the UCLA tennis teams are very good. men’s tennis is ranked #7 in the nation, and women’s tennis is ranked #10 in the nation. entrance into tennis matches are free and are located in the LA Tennis Center, which is close to the dorms.</p>
