One nice perk to being in DC is all of the free Museums. If your son is not a partier it is a nice option for students. My son is a student at AU and he often visits the museums and monuments with his friends. You are also admitted to AU as a whole and not locked into a major or “college” within the university. As a larger university than the LAC’s you are looking at there is a diverse population with Greek life and partiers. it is certainly not overwhelming and the Greek life is really not typical as my son, who is totally not interested in being in a fraternity, has been to two Fraternity parties with girls from his floor. Usually Fraternities don’t let males who are non-members into their parties. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me.
