<p>I think I will have my daughter send a letter appealing the award and asking for more. Anyone know how often these appeals are successful? </p>
<p>When I crunch the numbers, factoring in the funds I can scrape up, my dad’s small contribution, and assuming she can continue working part time, if she could just get $6,000 in a grant or loan or something, we could make it work with only $7500 a year in loans, which is still a lot, but I think “do-able”. I’m not going down without a fight.
