Ah, I see. In that case, a 1250 might have been more respectable 10 years ago. Supposedly it was harder to get a high score on the older SAT tests.

I got a 130 on the facebook one. Its a load of crap because it asks you to rearrange letters. Now what if i didn’t speak english, wouldnt that be impossible? Not to mention some people might be color blind.

Agreed with above. I guess its the elitist reputation of Mensa that drives people to join.

haha. I missed all of those. I got most of the sequences and geometry ones though. That brings up another point. The test is fairly biased against non-math type people. Heck, besides the the word rearranging and analogies, its pretty much a math test.

I don’t think paying for an IQ test is ever worth it no matter the amount of money involved. I took the Cultural test and this is what it said: “Way to go! Your performance on the test was well above the population average.”
Now that’s nothing more than an ego massage for most people but in my case I KNOW I’m not smart no matter what any IQ test says. Anyway does it even matter if you’re smart if you really wanna enjoy and slack in life?

138 on the regular facebook IQ test, 143 on the advanced one.

I had an official IQ test done when I was around 10, I scored a 127, but that was before I was on medicine for A.D.D., so I dunno how accurate this is…

I think I got a 154 on one IQ Test, but for psychology class we took Stanford-Binet 5 IQ Tests, which is probably the most official one I’ve taken, and I got a 142.

I’m not sure where my IQ goes, as I don’t have all that many talents.

Hm, I took the facebook ones a while ago. Just checked and apparently I got 140 on the original and 143 on the advanced. Pretty mediocre compared to my friends who added the app, heh.

I tried completing it and got a similar score because I actually took my time (and accidentally went over the limit). Try just answering the questions that are answerable in a few seconds and skipping anything else: it’s a flawed test, but what else could you expect on the Internet? I don’t suspect that the test is too accurate regardless of which “strategy” you use, unfortunately, but it’s still fun.
