Fafsa

I don’t think the off campus/on campus distinction is too big of a deal, but you should be able to make corrections to your FAFSA online. If you just submitted your FAFSA today, then you might have to wait for it to process first before you are allowed to make corrections, it’s usually a few days.

You can skip questions about your income & your parents income/assets if they don’t have any. But you may be selected for verification by UCI after they review your FAFSA. This happened to me before and all I had to do was send in some additional documents, they didn’t ask for them until late spring/early summer though if I recall correctly. For right now, just complete your FAFSA and check that off your list.

I don’t think skipping questions lessens your chance of getting aid. If your parents actually don’t have income/assets then you should probably qualify for more aid but then again I don’t know your entire situation and I’m not a fortune-teller.
