Hey all:

I had an issue with my classes for the upcoming semester; my college was not offering a class I planned on taking and had submitted on my tag. I contacted admissions (At UCSC), explained the situation and how I had to take it at a sister campus, and then expressed my concerns over the tag loss.

Their answer was as follows:
ANY class changes will void the tag, period. >UNLESS< the class you planned on taking was not offered at your campus and you find an equivalent (as per assist.org) class at another campus (preferably at a college in the same district) and take that instead.

If there is a change to your reported classes (you drop a class you are taking, or do not take a class you said you would take) it voids the agreement; although they may still accept you on merit it is no long guaranteed.

Thankfully i found an equivalent course at a sister campus, so I’m good; but try to avoid any class changes. It’s a contract, and they treat it as such, if you violate it, they void it.

Good Luck all!

Also: Minty; yes it means you’re in the ‘conditional’ implies the conditions of completing all listed coursework with a C (or better) or whatever conditions are listed in your email.
