I’m at a 3.5 GPA for Math/Econ and I’m missing like 4 pre reqs… I think I am going to get rejected for sure
many UCs haven’t released yet, I applied 7 and only got ucsb, anyway, wait for ucla today.
4 major prereqs? ouch, but i’ve seen worse get in, so.

I just found an “auto refresh” app for my browser so I don’t have to wear my finger down to the bone on the portal page.

@fullload don’t worry. I hate to admit this, but when I was in HS, I downloaded a Web Crawler app to win Justin Bieber tickets. And won. 5th row HAHAHAHA. so no shame because using technology is how you win.

for math/eco major, do ucla use overall gpa or transferable gpa? cuz if transferable, i am sure i can get in . for overall, 50% chance
So my 1st choice major is Bus econ, which is still shown on my portal…
but my second choice is Math/econ and I am missing a semester of calc as a prereq… I am in calc II now.
Also math/econ, 3.65, missing one prereq (but they told me there’s no equivalent course at UCI so there’s that). @heatherheather do you have linear algebra and diffy q’s done?

@heatherheather what is your gpa? I am bus econ too, calc 2 in progress.4.0 but no TAP and my calc 1 is from 5 on AP exam, I am only worried about the in progress reqs… What other reqs do you have in progress?
2 questions:
1.) What do you mean by major prereqs? Where to you see if you’ve completed them? I think I have but I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m missing a couple because the counselors my cc suck haha… but really.
2.) Where is the portal that we’re supposed to check to see our decisions? Could someone post a link?

Accepted: UCI w/regents/honors… tagged. waiting for responses from all the others.

Pre-reqs in progress: GE courses for IGETC and Accounting 1B, Calc II. I finished Micro/macro econ when I attended a private uni last year.
sounds good that your calc 1 came from AP! That at least allowed you to get ahead and take other courses. They are all about that.
