@Salmanthgr8 I got the same offer. I’m happy for both of us! What kind of campus work would you like to do? I do peer tutoring at my CC, and I think it’d be awesome to continue doing that @ UCLA.

@stanchevy I don’t know what the admission crew was thinking when they rejected you. How did u get rejected with all those EC’s. close to perfect gpa too!

@legolas154 That’s terrible! Call admissions and demand an explanation! I got in with cog Sci with a 3.77 and 3 prereqs missing with TAP! I don’t know how you didn’t get in! This makes me angry too! What did you list as your alternate major?

@faithcareer Yes, I completed all pre reqs. When I once reading my decision letter I stopped once it said “I am sorry…” Because I knew I didn’t get in. Turns out I was waitlisted. Still bummed out about it.

@legolas154 Well, it might’ve been your essay, because last year’s average admitted student for that major was 3.71.Have you gone back and read it? See if you had any errors? How was your story build up in the essay?

@Tik1127 @legolas154 No I’m pretty sure essays aren’t a big deal since they received 115k applicants this year. I bs’d mine by rephrasing my older brothers old essay. And I only took half of his essay because I turned it in last minute, literally. I have no idea why they rejected you.

@Salmanthgr8 Wow congrats! I will I wish I looked after my Spring Break was over, I thought I would get in for sure. I listed Psychology as my alternate major which I took all the classes for and received As in them. I wish I just knew why I got rejected because I don’t see what else I could do to become a Bruin :(.
