do you guys know if the first batch also includes applicants who applied to CAS? or just for a certain college?
Did anyone get a pin number to view their decision date yet when they use the applyyourself site?
@Sumner - looks like this is the case for CALS at least, however I think this is for GT’s. I also think that ILR GT’s may hear back this week. For regular applicants, I am unsure.
@TNIU94 - probably not. I am applying to CAS (GT) and they said it’ll be a little while, even for GT.
@StillWaitingHere - I have a PIN number, but if I try to reset the password and login it will just give me an error, no other information.
Anyone have any idea on when Human Ecology releases results?
I recently got in to Vanderbilt and the only thing stopping me from accepting their offer is a response from Cornell. Vandy wants an answer by 5/2 but Cornell’s website says responses come in May and June. I don’t want to commit without hearing back but am in a pickle if I can’t hear about it before the Vandy deadline. Additionally, I’d like to discuss the choice with my family and would like more than a day or two to go over everything (assuming the decision comes out close to Vandy’s required date).
Is there any way to get the process expedited in cases where you NEED a response soon?
Send them an email or call them. I’ve heard of people with that situation, and they will mark your application with that information.
@tiramisu2 do you know how many transfer applicants Cornell accepts for CAS?
What is the acceptance rate for Cornell Engineering?
I’m not really sure, but I’ve read some statistics. You might find this useful, it’s from 2011 though - but generally as the years go on more people apply and the numbers remain similar, so the percentages decrease (all of this is really speculative, so take it with a grain of salt! I am no expert):

My impression is that CAS and Engineering tend to accept less people.
I have also heard that Engineering does not do the whole GT thing. I’m not sure if these numbers take GT’s into account.
27 out of 318 men accepted. Wow…okay.
How many ECEs in here?
I am so deflated looking at these numbers.
I remember looking at the SHA response times last year and they typically happened around mid-May. I’m not sure about this year but if you are a SHA applicant this should be a helpful estimate as to when the decision will come out? Oh man, I’m really nervous… And man, I just saw the chart too…feeling kind of helpless now…
According to last years thread, if you log in with your info here https://transeval.cals.cornell.edu/ and it says “Your Major: X” (X= your major…) then it is very likely you got in.
mine says that…
@kyleparker406 anyone who was accepted has tested this method?
Yeah, I think that trick is only for CALS.
@kyleparker406 this is applicable to only the college of agriculture and life sciences applicants right?
because i was able to access the link, but no major appeared next to it. and the bottom says “Our records do not show you as an accepted student in CALS” which is accurate bc that wasn’t the school i applied to
@2Brown4MyOwnGood I’m in the exact same situation with Vandy. Are you going to email them and ask for your decision to be expedited?
@trynatransfer303 I’ll be sending an email if I don’t receive a response on Tuesday
For everyone else is there a HumEC equivalent of transeval?
