I applied for CAS, do they still send out acceptances next week or are they rejections?
Hey guys, I’m making a list for CHE of who got accepted/denied for future paplicants (lol i’m doing it now that i’m accepted). and they still send out acceptances any time. dont always beleive in the “trends”. there have been people accepted on weeks to CAS that were supposedly rejection weeks
(E) looking at the trends right now, a LOT of people from Collegeconf have been accepted to CHE. NICE JOB EVERYONE!!!
CHE applicants:

I’ll update the majors and so on in a future posts.
@kaleyeah
Are you applying for info sci?
Yeah my stats are a joke. I applied to cornell as a reach, thinking I wouldn’t get in anyway. Asian female, 3.17 college GPA, 2100 SAT. Applied from a rank #41 university. I think I wrote a good essay. I also had a software internship as a UX developer and have made websites and phone apps.

@tiramisu2 awesome thanks!
@orangebanana did you go to BU? That expalisn it. I honestly believed they took your school in context because BU is known for massive grade deflation. Congrats !!! :D:D
@HereToTransferr yeah I went to BU. I don’t think so. Honestly I think it’s cause of everything else besides my stats, especially the essays. I know a bunch of BU people who applied and got accepted with like 3.7+s. Also in my major there isn’t much deflation.
@orangebanana aww well congrats :p! You still made it!!! For schools like ILR, CHE, and CALS, they care more about fit. I’m surprised I got in too but I think my ECs and essays killed it and i think they sounded way more genuine than why I applied for cornell during HS
@HereToTransferr
Which major did you apply as and what kind of ECs did you have?
@orangebanana are you doing information science in CALS?
@orangebanana I applied to PAM. In comparison to my previous post to what I had, i had a lot more than what i posted. I volunteered a lot, especially in the city and working with teh impoverished, specifically children. I was also a board member for 2 clubs that were both humanitarium like, one of which was policy. I think PAM values people who want to help others and I guess I fit well
oh and I had the required coursework which helps a lot for CHE.
But yeah, I’m in love with PAM. like I"m so glad I got in
@tiramisu2
yep! What are you studying?
@HereToTransferr
That’s awesome What do you hope to achieve with PAM after undergrad?
@orangebanana I have no idea. I was thinking of doing health care policy or government policy, and then maybe pursue an mba. During cornell Im definiely going to try to participate in a lot of humanitarium work.
@orangebanana comp sci in A&S!
and @orangebanana im curious, what did you do?
@tiramisu2
Lucky that’s incredible dude!
@HereToTransferr

Hi guys, @keurimja @wceline @anonymous55 . Do you keep in contact with Ms. Perry after sending the course descriptions? I am wondering to ask her when I can get my decision
@Luluoo I would just wait, most likely coming out early next week tbh. I know, waiting sucksss
@orangebanana I got to BU too! haha
