I was told the Office of Financial Aid doesn’t start processing your FA until the office has been notified of your acceptance, then it will take 1-2 weeks before we receive our financial aid package.

3.7 high school gpa bunch of decent ECs, applied as a freshman to dyson - rejected, I think it were the SATs, where I did not do so well.
3.7 GPA freshman year with quite challenging classes, 2 great recommendations, a strong common app essay, ~ok cornell specific essay, strong ECs, same SATs
For transfer, I can tell you now with confidence - it is not the SATs that are gonna get you in, but I think what worked for me were really great recs and a strong personal essay. In the end, SATs are supposed to measure how well one will do in college - I did not do that well on SATs but did well in college lol.
Also sorry for my bit odd writing, I am still in complete shock and am barely capable of typing.

@meowrp @anonymous55 Yeah this sucks because I have to respond to an admissions offer from another school soon… I’d hate to have to turn down cornell’s offer prematurely if I do get admitted
