@tedopotato12 REJECTED… my 3.96 was not good enough and neither were my crazy good ECs. And yes prereqs were done and so was IGETC. Still waiting to see how many comm majors are accepted. I feel some type of way about about getting into Columbia but getting rejected from UCLA.

Although I am really happy that I got into LA, I live very close to Davis and it would be really hard for me to turn down that regents scholarship from Davis and go to LA or Cal(if i get in).

PS: 9.8/10 I really think this is what got me in, I tied everything in my application together and it spoke about fostering engagement in our community.
Yes my gpa is extremely borderline for a comm studies major but it’s because I earned a 3.5 my first quarter and from there on (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall), I consistently earned a 4.0. So I could only work to raise it and I took 17 units in Summer and 25 units (6 classes) in Fall to make up for it. I worked really hard, so I hope no one thinks I don’t deserve it
