@lakeeshow310 it’s more of wanting to know if it’s a trick or not. I’ve been scouring past threads and couldn’t find one, other than the housing trick which UCLA fixed.
@amunroeee @evlinm1 I liked Irvine over UCLA’s campus for several reasons. Well, I slept over at my friend’s apartment over there a couple weeks ago and it was just really calm. Everyone was doing their own thing and there seemed to be more parties than kickbacks which is something I like. It is the safest city in the country. And I just really liked the relax vibe there. I also didn’t like UCLA’s traditional style buildings. I liked Irvine’s modern style. It was just the overall vibe of the place. However, I do like the prestige of UCLA. But if I’m going to stay somewhere for 2 years, I really want to be comfortable, you know? I hope that helped you guys. But what I may like about Irvine, you guys might not. What I might like about UCLA, you guys might. It’s different for everyone. Hope that helped. Good luck everyone!

I feel you guys. I got into UCLA fall 2015 as a transfer and I just finished up school last quarter and will be walking in June. My friend is waiting to hear back like you guys and looking at this forum is making me laugh because I remember when I was on the 2015 transfer forum and being anxious as well. Good luck guys

The decision site isn’t down yet. Is that a sign that decisions won’t be released at 5???
So if we login to the admission portal, some ppl’s page have ‘new students’ category added on the menu?? And this might imply acceptance…? If I’m getting it right. Someone please explain this again for me!
I believe the recording says “after 5pm” so if they arent released at exactly 5 Im expecting then by at least 6pm
@uclahopeful2017 They can’t postpone it another day. April 30 is the date all decisions should be out, so I think it’ll be today.
I think a new trick has been found and that @LynAmmo got in, however, nothing has been verified so no one should get their hopes up. The reality is that decisions are done and it’s better to have low hopes that way no one is crushed. Much pride before a fall. If you don’t want to fall, avoid hubris. Good luck to all. @LynAmmo I was able to make a myucla account. I got denied to UCSD because my IB test scores weren’t accepted by them though, so I was below the unit requirement to be a junior… so idk if this verifies anything ha.
@TransfertoUCLA its not the admissions portal! Its the student login for UCLA which is called MyUCLA. Some of us have it for a bunch of different reasons, I have mine because I was a student through UCLA’s summer sessions a few years ago! So that’s what we’re all looking at!
@HeirOfLincoln Well said. Tbh I really shouldn’t have gone all inspector gadget, now my hopes are high and it’s going to hurt even more if I’m incorrect.
