I just got into San Diego and Davis. Just waiting on LA and Berkely now 
25% of admits have GPAs below that number. 75% of admits have GPAs below the top 75.

@UCSBorUCLA not all people have taken introductory statistics so your understanding of the percentages is wrong. The 3.62 gpa means it’s at the 25 percentile from the rest of the admitted gpa. So the 15 percentile could be 3.5? And 5% percentile maybe a 3.3? We don’t know for sure unless we have the full data. You having a 3.61 gpa means you’re at the top 25% among the admitted applicants. And no that isn’t the lowest gpa. To find the lowest gpa you need to find the 1% percentile of the admitted students which we can’t unless the full data is given

I don’t get why I’m so worried, my GPA is significantly lower than the 25% of admitted students in my major. Hopefully my essay gets me in.

Any african american studies majors on this thread doing a uc to uc transfer know if it impacted this year and would a a gpa of 3.17 currently make the cut
did UCSD, UCD, and UCI’s portal go down today? so if LA doesn’t go down, then we aren’t going to hear back from them until Wed?
