Are there any physics majors on here that have been accepted or are still waiting?
Has anyone that has not been accepted yet seen a financial aid description stating “your file is complete and we are expecting to begin awarding aid in mid-may. You will receive notification from us once your award information is available.” ?
omg , seems like the whole world is waitlist. i’ve seen so many waitlists rather than just rejections. Does that mean waitlist will mean rejection…
Still pending for EE, with AE as second choice. Got Accepted last year to both UCSD and UCI for EE. Chose UCSD but my admission was rescinded last Augues due to last minute cancellation of one required class at my CC. Wasn’t my fault but that didn’t matter. Things have definitely changed for the worse this year.
My stat:
GPA 3.85
@lucylee1026 Btw do you mind posting your stats? I was looking at UCI’s admitted students stats from last year and the average GPA was like 4.10. Mine is no where near that…
anyone knows what roughly is the percentage for waitlist to be accepted
@theScreen try late appealing to other UC’s. I sent some to UCI, UCR, and UCM. Planning on sending one to UCSD as well. UCM has already accepted it.
Do you know if UCR is accepting late transfer appeals? I thought it closes at around March?
How do you late appeal? Do you know if they’re still for sure accepting?
@Scigirl32 thats normal. UCI doesn’t disburse financial aid till mid may. Just make sure you dont have any missing documents or information and you should be fine. It should tell you within the portal if so.

Okay, thanks. I’m just confused about that because i have not received an acceptance.
SO weird. After I type in my username and password and hit the log in button on the website to check my status it goes to an all white blank page like it didn’t load or something. I kept trying it and still the same thing. First time that has happened. Probably just on my end though, although my internet is working fine elsewhere. Weird. It feels like I’ve been erased from the system or something
