@peatransfer9 @Tokiii I got the same exact email but I got it before I got any decisions from UC’s. I got waitlisted into UCSB and accepted into UC Davis. They asked me for an explanation between my gap since I took a semester off before starting CC after high school. I wonder why they are sending you that now though, hmm…

@peatransfer9 Ya they’re making me go crazy… but It makes sense why they’re asking about the 9th grade thing because I had attended a different high school during that time so it wasn’t technically reported in the application since they only asked what high school I graduated from.
@Christineosoh actually I did get accepted into UCR a couple weeks ago … but I’m still waiting for UCI :l
@peatransfer9 I am a Psychology major but I applied to UCI as a Psychology and Social Behavior. My GPA currently is a 3.29. I know it’s not a high GPA but I did a fair amount of E.C’s especially related to my career for child psychologist.
I had some extreme family circumstances during one of the semesters so I had to retake a few classes and take a semester off. That was one of my personal insights I wrote about~
I think I know why I was waitlisted for UCSB because I am mostly focusing in Psychology but SB changed it to psychological and brain sciences this year and I didn’t do half of the prerequisite for that major since I am focusing on clinical psychology so I applied with my alt. major, anthropology (:
I know there are some applicants last year who got accepted with the same GPA as mine into the PSB program so I was hopeful for a chance as well! I won’t lose hope yet though!
can I ask about yours too? I’m sure it’s waay better than my stats… haha

@actorincollegeLA Im not sure about other UCs but at UCSB, my cal grant is what covered 100% of my tuition. Soooo my best educated guess is yeah… Cal grant is a big deal for UCs and CSUs. Now privates like USC are a whole different story. But i mean atleast there’s a bright side. Now that you’re a resident, your UC tuition just dropped ~$20k a year!! 
Is there any possibility that decision will come out tomorrow?
@Conico UCLA decisions come out tomorrow so maybe UCI is trying to be cool like UCLA and release decisions tomorrow lol who knows

Just saying, if anyone comes from a household that makes below $80k/ year they qualify for blue and gold which covers tuition completely. Blue and gold grant is a UC wide thing
I messed up my first time at undergrad. Went to CC for a year and applied as transfer. The 4 closest csu’s denied me quickly. lol. At least UCR accepted me as Econ/Admin studies. Still curious if UCI/UCSD accept me. Probably not, though.
@gtransfer2012 omg same! I messed up my first two years at undergrad for ucsb, now i’m at cc, just got accepted to UCR too for sociology but still waiting on UCI. Don’t think I’ll get in tbh but I’m still a bit hopeful.

Mine says we will let you know of our admission decision when it has been made. This is too stressful-UCI, UCLA and UCB :((
Will UCI actually notified us? at this point i think it’ll only be rejection.
