@lrecupero same. For reasons beyond my control I wasn’t able to take calc 2 by spring ‘17. Just really bummed because if it wasn’t for that I would probably get in without a doubt and wouldn’t be feeling this way (not to sound overconfident) but that was really the only thing holding me back. I explained my sit on my app but I understand why I’d get an R, just wayyy too many overqualified people

got accepted in UCLA but still pending for UCI
@ncamp1234 Same here. I am taking Cal 1 this semester, and I am taking Cal 2 in the summer. There were definitely a lot of qualified applicants, so I totally get it as well. I wasn’t expecting anything until I heard that people got accepted without Cal 2. I have a high GPA(3.97) and I have an A in Cal 1 right now(which admission knows), but it seems like I’m getting rejected as well so I feel you on that. Such a bummer! I’m still praying for the waitlist lol!
@lrecupero I have an A in Cal 1 right now too! I have a 3.8 currently overall. Just feels bad for us, we do our best to prepare for life and sometimes things happen that we can’t control and now looks like a calc class is gonna hold us back 
I guess I’ll be going to CSULB lol

@ncamp1234 Omg we really do have similar situations lol. I was thinking the same thing. One cal class is holding me back a year unless I go somewhere else. It’s a crappy feeling for sure. I really hope we get the waitlist. I will update you as well once I receive the final decision. Good luck
