Can I get some help? I’m majoring in civil enginnering. I’m debating whether I should go to uci or UCD. I perfer staying in socal ,but Ucd has higher ranking for engineering. Which school is better in term of job opportunities after graduate?thanks in advance

@lovetoast05 I agree; the financial aid package is a bit annoying. Realistically, no one should be making any decisions about schools until knowing the financial aid situation, and planning to release them in “mid-May” should, in theory, mean that many students won’t decide until just before the June 1st deadline.
i’m still wondering if how late you submitted your app has an effect with rolling decisions, me turning mine in 30 mins before the deadline and all. esp with tag, i feel like having all the pre reqs and req gpa it should be an easy decision no?
is it possible to be admitted for tag and general app? bc i might not make the gpa cut for this specific semester and if i get accepted via tag then i’m dq’d unless they accepted me as a normal applicant as well?
@yelloww I’m pretty sure all UCI TAGs were already informed in March (I completed my app pretty late, maybe 10 days before the deadline, and TAG’d and was accepted). So, it’s possible your TAG was denied for some reason but that they’re still considering you as a regular applicant.
@dstarfire yeah they should let us know about our award when they notify us of our decision! If my financial aid package isn’t pretty I’ll have to back out :(( ughhh
