Anybody else register for Instant Decision Day at NB? I applied to RBS and SAS on January 3, sent in my supplemental info on January 10, still have not heard back. Will be hearing back when I go for Instant Decision Day on Feb. 11. I am a freshman and will finish 28 credits by the end of this semester and my GPA last semester was a 3.7. I am nervous to hear back but would find it odd to go all the way there and meet with someone and then have them tell me I did not get in. Just going based off what I think, haven’t heard of anyone who has done the Instant Decision Day yet so I don’t really know what to expect.
@njpeach How do you register for the instant decision day NB? Would you please tell me?
@vuvananh99 it’s full already. they sent out a link to register for it and within less than an hour it already filled up.
Has anyone heard from RBS Newark? My friend just got accepted to SAS Newark. I was just wondering if anyone has heard back from RBS Newark yet.
@njccstud3nt2020 would you might sharing your stats? I applied to RBS & SAS in Newark also and haven’t heard back yet.
Sure! I’m applying with 44 credits done, I will have my Associates done before the fall semester starts. I attended 2 colleges, started college at an out of state 4 year university and long story short did horrible, and now I’ve been in a CC. I’m currently sitting at a 3.31 and I’m a PTK member.
Oh that’s good! I have a 3.5 & I am also a PTK Member. Just nervous on why I haven’t heard back yet. @njccstud3nt2020
I’ve had my application in for a while, and I think they just review people randomly as applicants (especially transfers) hear at different times. I’m confident you’ll be fine
Hi guys! I am a freshman at a CC in NJ. I finished my first semester with a 3.4 GPA and I will have 31 credits by the time this current spring semester is finished. I applied to Rutgers NB SAS and business school, but I am mainly pursuing SAS. What do you think my chances are? Thanks.
Also, when do people usually hear back by? I applied January 21, and they received my application fee and college transcripts on January 23. Let me know when you guys hear back!
I applied on January 17th to SAS at NB with a 3.9 GPA (15 credits but will have 30 by end of this spring) and 3.5 high school GPA. I’m in the honors college at Rowan and have done a lot of volunteer work throughout high school. I haven’t heard back yet and I’m sooooo nervousss. Good luck to everyone
Hi everyone, I applied to SAS, SEBS, and School of Public Policy… I applied on 1/22/20. I was wondering when I should expect to hear back.
Stats-
3.85 GPA at top 25 liberal arts college (freshman fall)
31 ACT
Currently enrolled in four units
4.19 high school gpa if that matters
Good luck to everyone applying!!
They sent out an email to register for Instant Decision Day at NB about a week and a half ago, as soon as I saw it I registered. Not sure if every transfer got the email but I’m assuming it is full now.
I got the email and clicked the link to register within 10 minutes of receiving the email, but I guess it filled up already because it would not let me register
I just checked my status and I was accepted in RBS in Newark and I am still waiting for New Brunswick.
I believe if you aren’t doing the Instant Decision Day then for NB you are scheduled to hear back around mid April.
Congratulations on getting accepted. Just curious… when did you apply? I applied a week ago. I was told if a decision hasn’t been made by March 1st to call and inquire.
Online if you go to dates for NB campus it lists that for all transfer the application due date is Feb. 1, the credentials due date is Feb. 15 and the online decision is April 15. I’m assuming you could hear back before then but that’s the date it lists so I’m not sure…that is for NB btw.
But it would really take that long for a decision… that seems a bit much doesn’t it? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve refreshed the page in a day this past week lol add 2 months to that and I’m gonna lose my mind
Agreed, seems like a long time but that’s what it says on their website. If you look up Rutgers Transfer Dates it’ll show you the dates for everything. I also was looking at the Rutgers Fall 2019 Transfer Forum on here and a lot of people posted that they didn’t hear back till April, definitely a long time to wait but I assume they have to get through all the regular applicants before looking at the transfers
