I am optimistic that if my D’s first semester grades are on the same, or a better, trend, than when she applied, she should have good news, but as I recently posted on another thread, college admissions is a c**pshoot and we will know when we know

<p>On a side note, of all of the schools that my D has applied to, we have communicated the most (maybe 3 times) with the Chapman admission counselor for our state and he is very quick to respond to our questions, usually the same day. Saves a lot of the guesswork. I guess this is the benefit of a small school :)</p>
