Fay

"Fay is going to be a pain in the butt. " This AM I had the weather channel on and they were interviewing a seasoned Keys resident and this is what she had to say. Short and sweet.

Now that the path is projected to be a bit more easterly, the entire state is going to be wet and windy. For those traveling from anywhere in Florida to FSU, its going to be very wet and very windy. With more rain and wind. Some gusts and squalls. This appears to be a messy messy storm. I would agree it is going to be a pain…

It still looks like Tally will not get any major storm elements, just rain and wind, what could be alot of rain and wind. The coastal area that gets the actual entry might take a little hit with heavier rain and wind and flooding.

My part of northern South Florida is wet and windy. It makes for lousy driving weather and lousy move-in weather. I am a little worried that more airports will be affected then originally thought Sunday. This turn to the east may inconvenience more of you flying in from the North. Guess we just have to wait it out.

For students/families driving who decide to wait and come later in the week, don’t worry, you won’t be missing out an anything. If the weather is lousy, the activites get postponed anyway.
