@ Rocket Surgery

whats your last act score? just wondering you seem really smart lol

Well, my last score was 29, but I went in totally cold. I took three practice tests this time. I’m predicting a 31-34, 31 if I’m really unlucky and 34 if I’m really lucky.

vivian-i’m pretty sure there was no NO CHANGE option…in fact i’m like 90% sure…but then again there were a bazillion questions so i might be confused

hmmm…this wasn’t the question that i was talking about, but for this question, i put no change too. it was something about “spanning six decades”

rocket6louise- i honestly think there was
i remember thinking that specific one over

rocket surgery are you a junior or senior? or sophomore? what colleges are you looking at?

I swear that one was given the following information which of these answers is least acceptable…i’m not 100% sure, but i might have put something about him meeting actors when he was young but i think it was the supporting roles one

i put the decades one

i think we are talking of two different problems

vivian-you might be right…
all of its blurred in my head
regardless…it’s one question…really at this point it’s out of my hands…besides my top two colleges have average scores under a 25 so i’m not worried

Heh, I’m actually 21. >_> I’m not in high school, kiddies. :p

oh maybe thats why youre so smart haha

why the act then?.lol

Well, I’m trying to go back to school and I need a better score…

And I wouldn’t have done any better this time than I did when I was 17 if I hadn’t studied. It’s not like every year your expected score goes up…

for most schools we’ll all be fine…
just as a question, does anyone have any idea how many wrong=what score…
i have one in my practice book, but it’s fromm 1992, so i’m assuming its not up to date

haha @rocket6louise, Is the highest score a 35 or is that after it was changed to 36?

It’s scored on a curve, so it depends on how hard the test that you take ends up being. On an easy test -10 overall might be a 31; on a hard test, -10 overall might be a 34.

doesn’t it depend on the curve?

Does anyone remember the question about why the black guy was a pioneer in the movie industry. I was stuck on two answers: the no change (which was about abe lincoln being the symbol for his company) or D (which was about him trying to eliminate offensive stereotypes). I chose the latter because it listed stereotypes in the previous sentence, but then again I could be completely wrong. Can anyone confirm this?

the latter for sure
