it’s a joke manas

@wasteofusername wait what? this this test was the same one from 2 years ago??

@XCBro4Life yup it is, look at the link that I commented earlier

@VaishS lol I saw! What do you think your composite will be?

@XCBro4Life ehhh i cant really say I kind of have no idea lol but i think it improved from my first score (31) hbu?

Predicted Scores
36 - Math
33 - Reading
32 - Science
34 - English

Composite: 34

@VaishS not well but I think I should’ve improved from my earlier composite. Whenever I get to the science section I literally cannot think. it sucks and I don’t know why this keeps happening. its happened twice and it’s very frusturating. I do well during the English then halfway through math I cant think. 10min break im good in reading then dead in science !!!

@XCBro4Life aww that sucks, its ok just practice taking the whole test at once a couple time (to help u get used to the length) I think you will do great :smiley:
btw are you a junior or sophomore?

@VaishS junior! Junior year is terrible 5 AP’s and no sleep. Plus all of this standardized testing is terrible lol. Idk I had like 30 hours of studying the week of the ACT plus tons of presentation/essay work (IB/Ap sucks) so maybe that’s why lol.

@XCBro4Life awe that sounds rough :frowning: Im a sophomore and im so glad im getting all of this out of the way this year, even though lately my grades have dropped since i have spent so much time studying for this :frowning: make sure you get a reasonable amount of sleep though! And honestly I think it will all pay of eventually :slight_smile: Maybe if we both get into JHU we could get to know each other! You seem like a fun person to hang out with :stuck_out_tongue: We could run together!

@VaishS Absolutely! btw on the topic of sleep I slept 12 hours on Friday (due to lack of sleep) lol. I took Nyquil so I could actually fall asleep and idk just make sure not to procrastinate next year lol!

@XCBro4Life wow thats pretty impressive :open_mouth: I managed to sleep 8 hours before the ACT (not used to that much sleep) so that was a pretty big achievment for me
Do u do any other sports beside XC?

@VaishS track!

@XCBro4Life instant friends!

Wow…you can just check the previous threads for the answers. They were also given form 72A. The ACT has become really lazy to repeat tests, especially ones that are so close. Does anyone know the curve for the test?

Did you guys get y>3 for one of the math problems?

On the 2012 forum, it says that x was negative, but I thought I remember that on our test, it said x was positive.

This form was tested regionally in the Fall of 2011 and then administered nationally in October of 2012. It does not matter that most questions will not be remembered. Most questions are not very difficult. Remembering a few difficult questions can have a noticeable impact on ones score, and there are certainly students out there that have now taken this test twice (and students are much more likely to remember the difficult questions).

It is hard to believe, with the amount of money this organization brings in, that it needs to repeat a form so soon. And, incidentally, how did they manage to let a printing error seep through (the English question discussed) on an exam that has already been administered nationally?

@WasteOfUsername, Since you’ve taken the test before, I’ll ask you. What did you put for the age of the peat, did you get 1000? Also for the question about muon life, did you put that it increases when speed increases. And what do you think the curve for science will be, because I rally need to get a 36, ands so far, the section I have the most questions on is science.

indian boy think i got what the 2012 test people said on the test for the problem that u think y > 3

let me know which one to make sure though

peat’s age i think was either 3K or 5K… I ALMOST PUT 1K, but 1K was the wrong Peat. there were 2 peats and you had to look at the one at the top. speed increases with muons also.
