See the main thread - but last year they don’t appear to have done anything early - all releases (yes, no, waitlist, regents) were March 15 per the posted schedule starting midnight and releases each hour by last name. This was identical to 2016 when my kid got regents. This year they have again announced again March 15 starting midnight as in prior years. For UCSC I would assume most likely there will be no February admissions and that all releases will be at the same time. Possibly there will be additional waitlists or straggler acceptances rolling after wards but nothing sooner.
