<p>Applying ED will definitely place you in the top of the international applicant pool, as it demonstrates your enthusiasm for the College. However, as noted by tbhnams, only apply ED if Lafayette is truly your top choice.</p>

<p>FYI, I believe Basu is from India. Since he has yet to get back to you, I thought I’d just respond to that question.</p>

<p>Only domestic applicants can convert their RD applications to ED status by February 15th. For some reason, international students are not given that option to convert to ED.
