We were too, but loved it. My D got great merit offer at 3.85/4.2 no test. Think they want geographic diversity

Both my daughters felt the same way and didn’t even apply to UW.

Yes, we visited SMU when we went to see D23 at Trinity. We were really impressed. S25 is a little hesitant because he’s not interested in a fraternity, but I think the school had a lot to offer outside of Greek life.

Would say it’s 50/50. It’s a hard admit these days but the west coast thing helps a lot. It’s like Santa Clara but east coast

D and his roomates weren’t in a fraternity, but still had a very robust social life (perhaps too robust …) He’s thinking about going back for law school
