<p>Here’s hoping this thread gets filled soon! We have this behind us but I remember well what all of you are feeling at this time of year. Congrats on making it through the process and hear’s hoping for some great results for you all!</p>
<p>We have had an interesting ride thru this process to say the least…long story short, my D has decided she is going to Temple, theatre arts (still waiting on a yes/no for acting concentration) & is going to find her way…she is very excited w/this option & is looking forward to getting more training & also exploring some other theatre options if they interest her & see how that goes. She is keeping things open for the possibility of putting herself back out there next year. I honestly think once she gets there & gets settled in, it will either become home or not & that will be the deciding factor, if she loves it there, she will stay & in my opinion get great training & find her way! We are happy w/her decision & proud to be an Owl!! :-)</p>

<p>We decided to do all on campus auditions because S felt it was important to get a feel for the vibe at the school. He didn’t get a bad vibe at any of the schools, some he did feel better about than others. He was unsure going into this process the type of campus he wanted. S didn’t seem to know whether he wanted a large university, urban setting…anything like that. Visiting each campus really helped him decide. Every program had something unique which made his decision a difficult one. He admires Joe Deer from WSU so much, Prof. Deer taught acting at the CCM summer program and was the reason WSU was on his list, WSU has a student run theatre which S also loved and the students in Oklahoma were amazing… He attended PPU’s summer dance program, its local, he knows many current students and has attended PPU shows for years. S connected immediately with Robin Lewis at Rider, loved the campus, the proximity to NYC and was extremely excited about this program. In the end Rider ended up being far too expensive for us. S feels fate stepped in with Otterbein. He is so honored to be 1 of 2 men chosen for MT with dance concentration. He loved the campus, the current students are so warm and supportive. Otterbein is little over a 3 hour drive from home and he is very intrigued by the 9 week internship Sr year. I truly believe he’s ended up right where he is meant to be.</p>
