Hi, do boarding schools ask for the final grades / transcript of the last school term in your original school (e.g. g8 last term for g9 entry) And if you drop off from the grades previously submitted during application, will they rescind the offer or give you a hard time? it’s not in the requirement list for my school between April 10 and September but wonder if they will ask for it later.

It’s probably in the contract.
Acceptance is usually contingent on you continuing to perform at the level you were when you applied.
Oh course, it depends on the school… And how much you slip.
But even if they didn’t… there’s also parental approval to consider. Some parents might reconsider sending their child to BS if the child starts showing signs that s/he is not mature enough to handle the independence.
Most schools will ask - not only for continued evidence of preparation for high school, but also because they can/will use them to place students into appropriate levels for their classes in the fall.
