While I have been living in the US for four and a half years, I still haven’t received my green card, which for some schools puts me in the international applicant pile.

I was wondering if, for financial aid purposes, I would be considered an international student at Yale. I know this is a pretty unusual situation, but maybe someone somehow knows what I would count as.
Also, I read in another thread that Yale isn’t need-blind for international applicants, and I was wondering if that would apply to me, as well.

Thanks for the insanely prompt answer.
Yale is definitely far more generous than UMich will ever be.
My friend, who is in the same situation as me, is paying $45000 a year to go to Michigan, even if her parents work in Michigan, she went to HS and middle school here, and she lives here… Apparently paying taxes in a state doesn’t qualify you for in-state tuition.
