<p>There is no way the voice teacher can know the best fit for your S unless they have already worked together in sample lessons. Judging the fit with a teacher based on reputation only can be a mistake. Sometimes the best known teachers are great in polishing grad students who already have strong technique, but not so great in working with the undergrad on that technique. Some of the best voice teachers at the undergrad level are ones few people have ever heard of.
