<p>Yes, it applies to international students. However, that doesn’t mean that Stanford is need-blind for internationals. That just means that if an international student does get in, his/her financial aid will be based on Stanford’s normal policies. Although Stanford is need-aware for internationals, it does admit a great many international students who do require financial aid (in fact, all of my international friends are on financial aid, that I know of).</p>
