No, the out of state university doesn’t offer any type of BOG fee waiver. My home state is California, and so is the community college. BOG fee waiver is only offered in the state of California, granted by the CC. I will strictly be using financial aid/loans for the out of state university. I will be relocating out of state to attend that university. So I was hoping I could: A) still take 1 community college course online at my CC while enrolled at the out of state university. And B) receive federal financial aid/ loans for the out of state university, while not interfering with my community college and state waiver back home?
Under normal circumstances, I don’t qualify for BOG fee waiver with FAFSA. I usually struggle to get it approved. I’m afraid if I submit a FAFSA application (even if I don’t list/ send to my CC), it will override and interrupt my BOG. Then resolving the issue with the CC will be another hassle, especially by being out of state. I hope this all makes sense now. I know it’s a mess, but I appreciate the input thus far.
