I believe the most I can borrow is 12,500. My FAFSA for the OOS university and the BOG fee waiver at CC would be used in same academic year 17-18. I think rushing to transfer mid year creates a problem. If I transferred into a California university, more than likely I could pull it off. Perhaps, I should wait till the next academic year/ term when I’ll be officially done with CC and have a blank slate financial wise. My concern was if applying for & using federal aid in a different state, would affect my state aid (BOG fee waiver) in my home state. I thought state aid and federal aid are two separate entities?
