<p>It sounds like you are in good shape as far as getting everything completed. </p>
<p>Verification does make the process a little more drawn out, and I’ve had no luck in figuring out the FinAid office’s timing. The only clue I got once was when an Aid Officer, after learning that we submitted the final FAFSA using the IRS data retrieval tool, said that the data should be on their next “Friday update”. </p>
<p>To give an idea of our timeline: Initially filed FAFSA 2/22 with estimated numbers. We filed taxes around 4/9 and mailed required forms to NCSU. A completed FAFSA (using IRS tool) was submitted 4/20 (btw, missing that week’s Friday update). The Aid Letter finally appeared on MyPack Portal around 5/8.</p>
