<p>There is an expected student contribution that shows up on the FA award – that’s where they expect you to work (assuming the Stafford loans aren’t already built into your FA package). S works 10 hours a week at an on-campus job, not through work-study. He landed it his first day on campus. There is plenty of stuff available. Chicago does limit students to 15 hours a a week, which really is about the limit of what one could do while keeping up with schoolwork and a social life.
