It sounds like you can get more help from your family than this young woman, but you should be very careful about placing too much emphasis on a “dream school” that you may struggle to pay for. The internet abounds with similar stories. You sound like a very enthusiastic young person, but don’t be blinded by that enthusiasm . . .
