<p>I did receive merit aid, but that amount only covered 1/3 of the total cost to attend Northeastern. As far as need-based financial aid, I received a few measly loans and work-study, but it comes nowhere close to what I need. I’m holding out the slim hope that i can receive a larger merit award, which is, granted, very unlikely. But I am still optimistic that I will find some place that will give me a decent fin. aid package. Good luck to the rest of you in finding funds for college, may it be NEU or another school!</p>
<p>On the offside, any current students have words on how their aid package was? (good, bad, doable, taking out 40 grand in loans, etc)</p>
