The best scholarships are ones awarded to you by colleges where you get accepted.
What are your SAT or ACT score, and what is your GPA? And what year in HS are you?
Also…what state is your state of residence? Seriously…your family pays taxes to support your instate publics…you should at least consider them.
When you say you need “major aid”…is this because you are low income, or is this because your parents don’t have sufficient funds to cover your OOS costs?
How much will your parents contribute each year for college? If you don’t know…ask. And this is without needing to take loans for them.
Give us your stats…maybe someone here can suggest some comments where you would get sufficient merit aid to meet your family price point.
