I’m only a sophomore right now and I haven’t taken my official ACT. However, on my practice ACT I got a 30. My unweighted GPA is a 3.6 and my weighted is a 4.2 . So, about average. I’m also an IB student, although I’m unsure just how much that affects my stats for colleges. I’m not totally against going instate, I have found a couple that have interested me. The University of Tennessee Chattanooga for instance. An out of state school that interests me is the University of Alabama Birmingham, they have a good med program and I want to become a health professional. I believe they have a good merit scholarship for oos students, up to 18,000 but I am unsure. Any advice?
