So UMiami would be a match, in that case (that is why Naviance is so valuable).
As for LACs, there have been a few good suggestions already, so I would just add Swarthmore, and, if you are willing to think of California, Pomona or Pitzer would be excellent reaches, with Scripps as more of a match (if you were interested in a woman’s only college). Pomona, Pitzer, and Scripps are all part of the Claremont Colleges , and they have have many academic and research opportunities (the Consortium even has a graduate school).
Since you want premed, have you considered USF’s BS/MD program? Or Brown’s PLME program?
If your family is upper middle class, I’m concerned for you that you might not get much financial aid. Run the NPC! If you are very serious about med school, look at the cost for 4 years college, 4 years med school. It’s highly likely that the best thing for you is to go to college in state and save your parents’ money for med school.
Total segue, some colleges admissions look at your proposed major. It may be that your interest in being a classics major might help you.
U of Richmond is another southern school that could be a fit - similar in competitiveness to Wake, but more “artsy” (yes, definitely mention your music activities and credentials) and likely somewhat more LGBT-friendly, both college-wise and city-wise.
Vanderbilt would be a similar reach to Duke. They provide outstanding needs based aid, very generous. Have read provide some aid to families making upwards of 250k. Similar to Harvard when it comes to aid.
