finding travel companions

dkitty21, have you tried any of these travel suggestions? How did they work out for you? I’m in the same boat as you are. My kids are just about grown and being single, would like to find people to travel with.

Taking an organized tour is another way to travel with people. Some companies will allow you to have a single room (probably for a fee), while others can pair you with a roommate.

Or a cruise? Norwegian offers single rooms with social activities, and of course there are hundred of other people on the ship.

My H and I took a Rick Steve’s tour last spring and there were several single women and one single man on the tour. All of them had taken Rick Steve’s tours before and they had a great time.
They all said they also paid the single supplement so they’d have their own room, though you have the option of sharing a room if you’d like.
We loved the tour and the tour guide and I whole heartily recommend these tours.
