USMA does not publish it’s CFA scoring system or minimum scores. Compared to published average and maximum scores your son is at average for pull-ups, above average for push-ups and the mile run, maxed the sit-ups, and is below average for the basketball throw and shuttle run. http://admissions.usma.edu/prospectus/CFA_Instructions05.pdf

For USMA, candidates usually only take the test once. If a candidate has a strong file in all other areas, but fails the CFA, he/she may be invited to retake the test, but this is not the norm. Candidates are not offered the chance to retake the test to improve their score if they have passed the test. The exception to this is if the CFA taken at SLS. These candidates can retake the test and submit new scores.

Good luck to your son!
