<p>Most of the rooms in John Jay are reasonably spacious- you get the standard issue desk + dresser, a closet, a bed. If you think of a vertical rectangle, if the bed’s on the left or right side and the dresser/desk are across from it, then you’ve got 3-4 feet in between (enough to walk through to the window). For one person who isn’t bringing a ton of stuff, it’s a pretty good place to live. Just be aware that floor bathrooms can be pretty disgusting on the weekends while people are getting the partying out of their systems in the first semester.</p>
<p>As long as you don’t request Furnald you’re pretty much guaranteed your first choice dorm.</p>
