<p>i don’t know if this helps you, but i’m a member of the class of 2009 and was a part of the fyp program. it isn’t for everyone, but a vast majority of the people in it know what the program will entail and love it. the fact that you get to live with all freshmen is great, and there are lots of events planned just for you. this year, we went to nyc and stayed overnight in an amazing hotel in the heart of the city, as well as attended productions of shakespeare’s “hamlet” and “king lear.” for anyone who likes to reflect upon their experiences and think deeply about the meaning of life and who they want to be/what they want from college, i highly recommend becoming a “fypper” as we are affectionately referred to as.</p>
