Babysitter, tray carrier at a cafeteria-type restaurant, front desk worker in dorm, checker at grocery store, mystery customer for Dominos pizza, amusement park employee for one summer, intern in DC.

A lot of these are simultaneous so I’m going by start date :slight_smile:

No waitressing or in-store retail work. I was the salesperson who would be in the tent on shoot dates. My sister has been a waitress and bartender for more than half of her life though so I’ve gotten a taste of how hard restaurants are.

ETA: Oops, I completely forgot about being a nanny. The babysitting posts reminded me. But for the life of me, I can’t remember where that fit in and I can’t even remember if it I did it for one or two summers.

I was also a bartender, and worked as a pharmacy assistant, and was a summer theater house manager, but I did those things to supplement my speech pathology earnings in the early years.

  6. Back to the post office while in school for a 2nd, more practical college degree

Oh god…I forgot I was a camp counselor!!

  6. Biotech scientist of one sort or another - for 35 years now.
