FIT and PARSONS

from personal experience i can’t say anything about FIDM, but from other people’s experiences, i’ve heard that FIDM has been a waste of time. Their credits don’t transfer anywhere, so if you wantt o continute gettin a bachelor’s elsewhere you’d have to start from freshman year again.

I’ve heard that FIDM students don’t take the classes seriously, that a lot of the students their are for the wrong reasons, just attending because it’s a trendy thing to do-to be at a fashion school. THey confuse fashion for shopping, and for me, the whole entire way they handle admissions is extremely weird. i think anyone can get in, they just want your money. I say this because besides its aproprietary school, when you get accepted you immediately have to submit a deposit even if you’re not sure you’ll attend. And no i’m not confusing this, i know because some girl i knew applied during december or november, for the following school year was required to submit a deposit even if she wasn’t sure or planned on attending. They say it’s part of the application process. which is ■■■■■■■■ because we all know that the national deadline to submit a deposit is may 1st.

i have just been accepted to FIT , PRatt and Parsons. But all my mail came late i only have until Friday to make my decisions and send my deposit. I was accepted to the fine arts program in Pratt and Parsons and to the communications design. i need help.

Personally, if I was hard pressed to choose between those three I’d choose Pratt, just because its less expensive than Parsons, and the best graphic design school out of those three.
