The fitbit one is the newer model and has a different clip than the older model (ultra). The fitbit one clip seems better to me(I’ve had both). I clip to the center of my bra and I’ve never had a problem with it coming loose or falling off. For guys, I would probably keep in a pocket, but remember not to wash it. I like it a lot more than conventional pedometers such as omron.

I’ve worn an old-fashioned step-counter for a bunch of years now. It doesn’t keep track online, but I keep a notebook with columns for steps, weight, food intake, and writing time and/or pages. Food is sometimes a real food diary, and sometimes just a good/bad assessment.

I also add in step-equivalents for non-step exercise like biking, kayaking, weights, using an approximation of 100-150/steps for a minute of activity, depending on intensity.

So I’m kind of an analog version of this device! :)

Any significant difference between the two models? The $99 is a big expensive and the $59 seems good enough
