@T26E4 entered a link that had the following email response to a scanner:

I am not sure who to believe. I do not have enough evidence at hand to make a qualified opinion. You seem quite apologetic so I will give you the benefit of the doubt and have Mr. Slater shot at dawn.

So the target of the scam said he would have his colleague killed and the scammer still didn’t take the hint? :))
