To add on to my last post:
Clemson isn’t exactly cheap but we’re consistently ranked by SmartMoney as having a great return on investment and Princeton Review says we’re one of the best value public colleges in the country. Yes, Clemson is sort of in the middle of nowhere but we still find things to do and have fun. We wouldn’t have the happiest students or score a 97/99 on Princeton Review for quality of life if we were just sitting in our rooms twiddling our thumbs. Like I said, there are 400+ student organizations at campus from intramural/club sports to academic organizations to greek life. We’re also near the mountains and on a lake so there are a bunch of outdoor recreation opportunities. Downtown is small with a few bars but still a lot of fun. Of course sporting events especially football games are awesome. People will tailgate for them starting at 7 AM all over campus.
